In Motion Dance Company
In 2000, Kathie Kececi began a small modern dance company comprised of 8 dancers performing at a few local venues. Today, after 20 years of growth, the company has expanded and performs in NYC, NJ, PA, CT, Washington DC and, London. The company performs Modern, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Musical Theater.

In Motion II
In 2012, In Motion II was created to give younger girls the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of their older mentors. In Motion II is for ages 8-14

Each year, the company performs at a variety of professional and artistic performance venues which have included: The Ailey Citigroup Theater, NYC Lincoln Center (NYC), Carnegie Hall (NYC), Kennedy Arts Center (D.C.), Lincoln Memorial (D.C.), Manhattan Movement Arts Center (NYC), Merce Cunningham Theater (NYC), Grounds for Sculpture (NJ), Bickford Theater (NJ), Metrowest Dance Festival (NJ), Rebound Dance Festival (CT), Bethlehem Ice House Theater (PA) Moravian College (PA), Nimbus Art Center (NJ) Ceres Art Gallery (NYC), Sitnik Theater (NJ), and Montclair University (NJ).

Each year renowned choreographers set dance pieces on the company. These have included: Alex Beigelson, Justin Boccitto, Kelly Buck, James Duchateau, Randy James, Amanda Jordan, Eli Kababa, Tammy Klinck, Becky Moyer, Alison Oakes-Charbonnier, Eric Ortega, Teresa (Te) Perez, Lisa Peluso, Samuel Pott, Claire Porter, Tabatha Robinson-Scott, Ross Sandler, and Heather Warfel.
